Platforms

Continuous monitoring between engagements.

Point-in-time testing tells you where you stand today. The HackingByte platforms keep watch the rest of the time — continuous coverage so new exposure surfaces as it appears, not at the next test.

  • Senior-led delivery.
  • Vendor-independent.
  • Evidence-driven reporting.

Our platforms

  • Vulnerability management

Continuous scanning and tracking of vulnerabilities across your in-scope assets, prioritised by what they actually expose rather than raw severity counts, and tracked from discovery to retest.

  • Attack-surface monitoring

Ongoing discovery and change detection across your internet-facing surface — domains, hosts, and services — including the shadow assets no one remembers standing up.

  • Dark-web monitoring

A continuous watch across criminal marketplaces and forums for leaked credentials, exposed data, and mentions of your organisation — surfaced with the context to act.

The platforms complement senior-led testing — they don’t replace it.

How it works

How the platforms work with an engagement.

The platforms aren’t a separate product line — they extend the senior team that runs your engagements. The model is deliberate:

  1. Continuous coverage runs. Each platform watches the assets, surface, or exposure it’s scoped to, the whole time — not just at the next test.

  2. A senior triages what matters. A finding that needs judgement — a chain, a business-logic issue, real exposure versus noise — is reviewed by a practitioner, never left as a raw alert feed.

  3. It feeds the next engagement. Where a finding warrants depth, it becomes the starting point for a point-in-time test or assessment — so monitoring and testing inform each other.

Pricing. The platforms run as a continuing subscription scoped to the size of your estate or surface, deployed on-premises or in the cloud — separate from the fixed-price, banded engagements. We sell no third-party tooling and take no vendor commissions, so the monitoring carries the same agenda as the testing: telling you what’s true.

Frequently asked questions

Do the platforms replace a penetration test?

No — they’re continuous coverage between engagements. A point-in-time test still proves exploitability and depth; the two are built to inform each other.

Who reviews the findings?

The same senior team that runs your engagements. Anything that needs human judgement is triaged by a practitioner, not left as a raw feed to interpret.

Do you resell scanning tools?

No. We sell no tooling and take no vendor commissions, so the monitoring has no agenda beyond accurate signal.

Can we start with one platform?

Yes — each is scoped independently. Many programmes start with attack-surface or vulnerability coverage and add the others as the need becomes clear.
